So It’s been a while.

A lot has been in the works. My band The OBGMs has been working hard, and it’s been paying off; we’re really excited for this nomination- our 2nd Polaris Prize Shortlist nomination in a row. September 16th, we will be playing Massey Hall at the Polaris Concert where they will announce the winner.

Look our for us, because we’ll be taking it to another level with our performance!

I usually don’t dig the awards thing; for those who are in the industry, there’s a ton of politics, and even when the numbers are there, there’s a ton of favours to be owed, payola, scratching backs, etc. that can’t be competed with.

Polaris operates on artistic merit. That’s what I’ve always dug about them.
